Prada Spring-Summer 2012

Temperatures are terribly low in Paris. Instead of braving the cold weather like any well-adjusted human being, I have decided to hibernate in the apartment until the end of the season (or at least until the down jacket I ordered online is delivered.) Luckily the parentals inhabit the southern half of the equator where temperatures are 30celsius and rising. After some guilt tripping, arguing, and minor manipulation I have coaxed them in to flying me home for the glorious holidays. Tchin-Tchin to resort season!

Having spent most of my life living in a city, I have always thought that I would keep on moving to a grander metropolis. But with the global economy having a worse hangover than Lindsay Lohan's career, maybe it is time to find solace in the simpler things in life. To find happiness in the country side all you really need is +1.

Umit Benan Spring/Summer 2012

Having gone to school in New England I often spent my afternoons reading a book under a sugar maple tree, or driving my Saab around to look for strawberry/apple picking farms. I would rotate the sports I practiced according to the season: autumn was for nautical sports such as sailing, spring was for tennis. Winter was for hibernation, or the time to be a little nostalgic.
